The Design
Starkid Productions's Firebringer is a comedy "stone-age" musical following a group of cavemen and the discovery of fire. In our design, were interested in this in how the human technology affects the environment and the social structures of the people. In my design, fire was something key to represent. I wanted to play with the contrast between artificial v. natural, as well as, the contrast between the natural world in the beginning of the play to the destroyed world of act 2.
